Kunta's Culture

[WASHINGTON] A collective of local and regional creators, innovators and trailblazers will intermingled in fellowship celebrating the key components of culture in and around the DC Metropolitan area. In sequence with Kendrick Lamar’s Kunta’s Groove Sessions concert at the Lincoln Theater, Kunta’s Culture was designed to showcase the fearless style of a creative’s character and their ability to enhance cultural objectives through craft, trade and execution. When speaking on the word culture, consistency is the category that keeps the integrity of an individual and a movement true to form; that is the fearless approach.

Kunta’s Culture details multiple divisions of activity and features leaders in the respected fields. [ART] the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance. [FASHION] a prevailing custom or style of dress, etiquette, socializing, etc. [MUSIC] an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color. [EDUCATION] the act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgment, and generally of preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life. [FOOD] any nourishing substance that is eaten, drunk, or otherwise taken into the body to sustain life, provide energy, promote growth, etc. [CULTURE] the quality in a person or society that arises from a concern for what is regarded as excellent in arts, letters, manners, scholarly pursuits, etc
